Moto Guzzi Eldorado 850T T3 83mm Gilardoni Piston Cylinder Kits with Head Gaskets

Replace your flaking chrome cylinders with a new set of Gilardoni cylinder and piston kit. It's also a good idea to replace your cylinders even if your current chrome is ok. You never know when it might start flaking.

Kit includes -

  • Nikasel bore Cylinder x2
  • Piston, rings, pin & clips x2
  • Head gasket with oval hole push rod opening x2

To install, use the regular base gasket 14020850 and o-rings 90706094

These are sold as a pair, just as you see pictured.

Note: As always, please gap the rings prior to assembly.

Note for EldoradosEldorado models may have slightly different pushrod tunnel dimensions than later models like the 850T. Check to make sure your pushrods don't rub on the walls of the pushrod tunnels. If they do, remove some of the material from the tunnel with a suitable file.

Consult your parts manual for proper fitment.

Please note that this item is a reproduction or replacement item for an original Moto Guzzi part. Part number is for reference purposes only.

Gilardoni Piston Cylinder Kit

I recently finished refurbishing my 75 850T3 and have ridden it about a year. The original chrome cylinders were in fantastic shape with solid, even compression. I had done all the reading about how "bad" they are and it was always in the back of my mind about the "what if?" When I received an email about availability for the "legendary" Gilardoni brand, I didn't hesitate. I'll keep them if/until the chromes give up. I don't know how much different they will be from the current offering but if I ever part with the bike the name has a little clout with those in the know. I've bought quite a bit from Crusty Cycle and the price, quality and service never disappoint.
